Play App for Star Trek Adventures
This is an unofficial, unaffiliated app for displaying game information for players of the Star Trek Adventures game by Modiphius® Entertainment (links: US / UK).
The whole point is to be able to display game information as a GM for your players - or if a Captain's Log game, for yourself. This for for GMs who want to bring an electronic screen to the table (or I suspect one could share the screen in an online game).
The starship's 3D model and player photos can be changed either via drag-and-drop or settings dialog.
You can find 3D models of star trek ships in a whole bunch of places, such as game developer or 3d printing sites. The models must be the open standard, *.gltf / *.glb, file type.
-
The players can be customized:
- department colors border (upper-left hidden selector)
- pips for rank
- current and maximum stress
- name
- photo (drag-and-drop an image or use the settings dialog)
If you want to quickly make custom pictures for your crew, you can use my character creator also here on itch.

This looks amazing and I'm going to be using this with my STA friends. One question though, what files are accepted for the ship models, and where would I find them?
I don’t have a single good source for models, just search “3d model star trek” or the like. You’ll get stuff like Sketchfab, trekmeshes, reddit posts to deviantart, etc etc.
Once you have something you like, you can make sure it’s the right format (GLTF or GLB) by converting it with Blender if it’s not already correct.
Hey Sam, I'm trying to import my file onto my Android phone and keep getting this error. Any idea what might cause it?
I’ll try testing things later, but sometimes it doesn’t love backups with large filesize ship models. Can you link me to a gdrive/OneDrive/Dropbox of your backup so I can take a look and debug it?
I’d still love to take a look at the backup file you’re trying to import and fix the issue
